SINGTEL begins selling Apple's iPad 2 tablet computers on Saturday (May 14).
Prices start at $399 for the low-end 16GB models; monthly subscription will be $40 a month for 50GB of data.
By comparison, buying it direct from Apple will set you back $668 for the same model.
Consumers will also be able to buy multi-SIM plans, that is, to get an additional SIM card for the iPad, for $10.70 a month. This will allow them to share the 12GB of data they typically get with a smartphone plan.
Both white and black models will be available, but the company notes that 'due to limited stocks quantity at launch, customers who are interested to purchase iPad 2 with SingTel at our launch event will be required to book an appointment for the purchase'.
Earlier this week, StarHub and M1 said they will be announcing their iPad 2 price plans 'in the coming weeks'. To register interest for the iPad 2 with SingTel's plans, visit: info.singtel.com/personal/communication/ipad2
